About us
The goal of a Ceilidh is to create community
How this happens is a complex, multi-layered phenomenon with individual variation based on engagement and past experience.
- Dance triggers the release of several “feel-good” chemicals, including dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins.
- Eye contact also triggers oxytocin and Dopamine release
- Singing together decreases cortisol levels
