About Us

About us

The goal of a Ceilidh is to create community

How this happens is a complex, multi-layered phenomenon with individual variation based on engagement and past experience.

  • Dance triggers the release of several “feel-good” chemicals, including dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins.
  • Eye contact also triggers oxytocin and Dopamine release
  • Singing together decreases cortisol levels
